Details on success rate at final exams for primary education cycle

ALGIERS- Ministry of National Education announced, Saturday that the national success rate in the end-of-primary education exams, cycle 2021, reached 83.95 percent, showing an improvement of 0.64 percent, compared to 2019, despite the exceptional circumstances of the 2020/2021 school year.”

Here are the full results recorded in the exam, according to the Ministry of National Education:

Number of candidates registered for the exam: 853,385.

Number of candidates present: 850,431.

Number of successful candidates: 713,975.

National success rate: 83.95 percent.

Number of successful candidates with honors: 615,030, or 86.14 percent.

Winners of the exam are distributed according to the approved grades as follows:

Excellent rating: 130.150, or 18.23 percent.

Very good rating: 189.130, or 26.49 percent.

Good rating: 164.377 or 23.02 percent.

A rating close to good: 131,373, or 18.40 percent.

As for the students of the fifth year of primary school who are accepted into the first year of middle school, their number reached 792.291, with an acceptance rate of 93.16 percent.
