Non-compliance with sanitary protocol: 22 commercial premises closed in Algiers since beginning of Ramadan

ALGIERS- No less than 22 commercial premises have been closed in the capital since the beginning of this month, for non-compliance with the health protocol set since the outbreak of the global Coronavirus pandemic, the security services of the province announced on Friday.

The same services said in a statement that of the 3,521 commercial premises checked, 22 were immediately closed during the periodic control of commercial activities.

This operation, carried out by the security services of the wilaya of Algiers, represented by the wilaya service of the General Police and the regulations, to ensure the application of preventive measures to fight against the pandemic of the new coronavirus, resulted in the recording of up to 279 infringements and the sending of 257 formal notices to offending traders.
