Western Sahara: Algeria regrets obstacles imposed on MINURSO

NEW YORK (United Nations)- Algeria’s ambassador to the United Nations, Sofiane Mimouni, deplored Monday the inability of the UN Mission for the Referendum in Western Sahara (MINURSO) to fulfill its mission thirty years after its creation, noting that numerous opportunities were missed to reach a just solution to Western Sahara conflict.
